Nobby’s week 36 in review

_82411282_haazrdgoal_epaLiverpool, Villa and Arsenal were involved in the FA Cup, but their points all count. Otherwise in the League Leicester got their 9th point out of 9 and the great escape is truly on. Burnley lost at Everton. Newcastle should have just enough points but they are absolutely awful at the moment.

West Ham are in a similar run of form to the Geordies, losing to Man C in what was more like a practice match, the amount of sweat that was exerted.

Chelsea beat Man U in the big one with Eden Hazard grabbing the winner. Stoke knocked Saints back and WBA won at Palace.

Sun 19 Apr 2015 – Premier League
Man City 2-0 West Ham
Newcastle 1-3 Tottenham

Sat 18 Apr 2015 – Premier League
Crystal Palace 0-2 West Brom
Everton 1-0 Burnley
Leicester 2-0 Swansea
Stoke 2-1 Southampton
Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

In the Cup Villa were the heroes, which does allow Stevie G to spend his birthday with his family, which I thought was nice. Arsenal laboured to victory over plucky Reading.

Sun 19th Apr – FA Cup – Semi-Final
Aston Villa 2-1 Liverpool

Sat 18th April – FA Cup – Semi-Final
Reading 1-2 Arsenal
