MK Dons exited the FA Cup in the 3rd Round last week to high flying Brighton & Hove Albion, Francey’s boys making better work of Franchise than Charlton did in the round before.
The Seagulls took the lead after nine minutes through midfielder Beram Kayal, who drilled a low finish into the bottom corner of the net. Richie Towell came close for the hosts with a 45-yard effort, while Steve Sidwell flicked a header wide.
The League One side barely threatened and Tomer Hemed settled the game with a free header from 10 yards.
The south-coast club have now gone beyond the third round of the competition for the seventh time in eight years and they will now take on the N&R FL mantle in our Road to Wembley series.
Brighton will travel to either Ipswich or Lincoln in the 4th Round.
