Nobby’s week 28 in review

Archives

img_1436Cup week so easy to run through the games affecting the N&R FL except it was a bit of a horror show for a couple of the Prem teams, namely Burnley and Leicester.

Burnley are only the second ever Premier League team to be knocked out by non-league opposition, after Luton Town (v Norwich City in January 2013). As for Leicester, they are wearing that Premier League champions label like a noose around their necks. They were deservedly beaten by Millwall.

Man City were taken to a replay by in-form Huddersfield, and Middlesbrough were exceptionally lucky to overcome a dogged League One Oxford. Chelsea, who put out a strong team, comfortably win at Wolves.

Those of you that have Harry Kane will be counting your points after he scored a hat trick at Craven Cottage. Man U came from behind to beat Blackburn. That man Zlatan again.

And on Monday Arsenal were rather lucklustre in beating a resilient Sutton 2-0, who came close to scoring in then 2nd half and making it more uncomfortable for the Gunners.

FA Cup 5th Round Results
Burnley 0-1 Lincoln City
Huddersfield 0-0 Man C
Middlesbrough 3-2 Oxford Utd
Millwall 1-0 Leicester
Wolves 0-2 Chelsea
Fulham 0-3 Tottenham
Blackburn 1-2 Man U
Sutton Utd 0-2 Arsenal
