Nobby’s week 29 in review

Archives

img_1460Swansea put up a grave battle at the Bridge but Conte’s men moved 10 points clear. Goals from Fabregas, Pedro and Costa finally saw off a revitalized Paul Clement’s Swans. A hat trick in 23 first half minutes for Kane and an Alli goal all before half time saw Spurs go 2nd.

Palace won a vital 3 points at home to Boro, David Moyes came back from Goodison where he managed for 11 years (11 years. Can you see that happening again?) pointless. Sunderland are bottom.

Hull and Burnley shared the spoils, and Bournemouth need to be very careful. They are on a real bad run of form and are now slipping into what could become a 7 horse race for relegation. Watford and West Ham drew 1-1 in an entertaining game at Vicarage Road.

And Leicester players hang your heads in shame….

Week 29 scores
Chelsea 3-1 Swansea
C Palace 1-0 Middlesbrough
Everton 2-0 Sunderland
Hull 1-1 Burnley
WBA 2-1 Bournemouth
Watford 1-1 West Ham
Tottenham 4-0 Stoke
Leicester 3-1 Liverpool
