7 weeks to go – N&R Premier League thoughts

biggThe 2016-17 N&R Premier League title race is between Too Bigg to Fail and Hannoi Utd as it has for some months. 14 points separate the two with plenty of points to play for. Will Ready’s experience of winning 3 previous title’s be a differentiator or will Alastair being in Manhattan and away from the pressures of Leadenhall Market give him an edge? Both managers have transfers available.

The chasing pack is led by Bale Madrid, who have had a stellar last month and has pushed some of the long term occupants of those top places down the table. Right in the Feghoulis has also edged their way higher up the table in the last couple of weeks.

Sweats XI and Knowing Remy Knowing Joselu. SAHA have done likewise with Mark closing in on good friend Woody’s Round Up.

In fact despite the top two having their big battle for the ultimate title of N&R FL Champion the race for prize money is wide open in the N&R Premier League.

Sav’s Eleven, Dier Straits, Moral Hazard and This is not my year should also have prize money in their sights.

Sticky Toffees look firmly in mid table but below them Club de Cebu, ex Champ Guinness & eggs and Bilic or Bust all need to be careful. 2Infinity & beyond and Addington Bares have proven recently that there is still life left in those in the relegation zone.

Mind you other than Tanks Tinkering Tankers, Bingo FC and Cech mates the rest look doomed including last season’s N&R FL Champion Graham Ward and Ayew Ready for this.

Other ex-champs Godders and Danny plus last season’s runaway N&R Championship winner George Watson also look beyond help.
