Benfleet Bet latest – Perry in pole

Archives

Not much to say really – Spurs are out and Arsenal are in. Tottenham were robbed by Chelsea despite totally outplaying them and having the lion’s share of the possession. Arsenal blagged their way to yet another FA Cup final and Arsene could depart in the summer with his head held high. Most likely scenario though is Arsenal will win it, Arsene will think they have made great strides this season and he will agree a new 20 year contract (that is what Spurs fans are hoping for).

Jordan Perry stretched his lead at the top to 5 points by successfully predicting the 90 minute draw in the Arsenal v City fixture and a Chelsea victory. James Bird and Lee Horne remain in touching distance but Lee has got to go for goals in the final if he is going to be in with a shout.

The final is being played on Saturday 27th May at 17.30 (what is wrong with the old 3pm kick-off?). Those who are yet to submit their prediction for the final please do so to kread@milessmith.co.uk by 5pm on Friday 26th May.
