Road to Wembley – Can Arsenal do what Spurs haven’t?

Archives

IMG_1513.JPGI read the other day that if Man U beat Ajax tonight and Arsenal beat Chelsea on Saturday, then with Man C League Cup winners, does that mean United, The Gunners and City, have had more susccessful season’s than Spurs? I’ll let you north Londoners argue than one out amongst yourselves.

As for our N&R Road to Wembley we ended up following Arsenal and they of course are trying to prevent Chelsea taking the double on Saturday. After missing out on a Champions League place for the first time in two decades Arsene will be desperate for silverware and then the world awaits possibly the biggest managerial decision of the summer.

So, from everyone at N&R FL except Ready, good luck to our Road to Wembley boys Arsenal at Wembley.

We began back in early August with Leicester Nirvana from the United Counties League, we skirted with both Charlton and Brighton and embraced both Lincoln’s, United through a couple of early rounds and then the historic run to the Quarter Finals by Lincoln City.
